How I Want To Be Seen

Today is another beautiful day to post another inspirational article. I have been away for a while and this is due to my busy schedule. My apology to those looking forward to hear from me over one thing or the other.

Today’s post is long overdue but as they say, better late than NEVER :)

This is a response to my friend, Abu Aremu’s Group Writing Project titled, How I Want To Be Seen.

Several years ago, I answered the question of how I want to be seen by people and my stance has not changed up till this moment. There is a quote I read some years back that has helped formed my philosophy and this will be my response to the project.

The quote is by Harold Kushner and I can’t remember where I saw it again. I have it pasted on the wall of my room to serve as a reminder all the time. :) Below is the quote:

“Our souls are nothungry for fame, comfort, wealth or power
Those rewards create as many problems as they solve

Our souls are hungry for meaning, for the sense that we have
figured out how to live so that our lives matter.

So that the world will at least be a little different
for our passing through it ” - Harold Kushner

I just want to be know as a difference maker and this explains why I am doing all I am doing ;)
